FOX `s American Idol season six winner, and the youngest winner in the show`s history, Jordin Sparks was reportedly attacked and bitten by a pitbull recently in a New York City park.

FOX`s American Idol season six winner was bitten by a pitbull while taking her own dog to the commons ended the weekend in New York City. Jordin Sparks, who is currently starring in Broadway production "The Heights", confirms she isn`t hurt, but does take a nasty bruise. During an interview following the experience, Jordin said "You see this bruise right here? A New York experience. I took my dog to the dog park and I got bit by a pit bull. Yesterday!"
Jordin adds "He didn`t stop the skin, thank goodness." Luckily for the dog`s owner neither Jordin nor her own dog suffered any serious injury from the bite. This has not been a skillful few months for Jordin as she also recently injured her hip during a performance of "The Heights". Hopefully she will get a shift soon and hold an uneventful remainder of the year, and hopefully this serves as a moral to the attacking pit bull`s owner.
